Please follow these recommendations for the care and maintenance of you natural stone:
Do's
. Do clean all surfaces with warm water and mild detergent or stone soap.
. Do rinse and dry surfaces after cleaning.
. Do clean up spills immediately.
. Do reapply stone sealer to surface as soon as you notice water no longer stands on the surface.
. Do use antibacterial cleaners in food preparation areas.
. Do Clean any oil or grease spills as soon as possible. Leaving greasy products on granite can penetrate into the stone over time. If this should occur, simply use K2R, which is a grease remover for fabric, or use a poultice of baking soda.
Don'ts
. Don't use abrasive cleaners like Comet, Ajax, or Soft Scrub.
. Don't use cleaners that contain acid such as bathroom cleaners, grout cleaners, or tile cleaners.
. Don't use cleaners that contain vinegar or lemon juice.
. Don't sit or stand on stone countertops.
. Don't cut directly on stone countertops; always use a cutting board. Granite & Marble you may dull your knives over time, so we recommend using a cutting board
. Don't put hot pots and pans directly on stone countertops; always use a hot pad or trivet.
